When you use the role finder

When you select “Find my roles,” your résumé and text are sent through this site to OpenAI’s API to generate your matches. Don’t include identification numbers, confidential work material or anything you don’t want processed by an AI provider.

Leanna in beta does not store your résumé, background text or results in its database. They are processed for the request and your results remain in the page until you leave or reload. The hosting and AI providers may retain operational or security data under their own policies. We request that OpenAI not store the generated response. This does not remove any operational or security retention that may apply under the provider’s policies.

When you join the email list

Signing up is optional and is separate from using the role finder. With your consent, we store your email address, signup source, consent wording/version, signup time and subscription status in a private database. Your email is not attached to your résumé or role results. We don’t sell the list.

Signup uses single opt-in: we record your consent but do not yet verify ownership with a confirmation email. A future email service may process the list to deliver the updates you requested. No automated emails are being sent in this pilot.

Unsubscribe or remove your email

After signup, you receive a private unsubscribe link on screen. Save it; any future marketing email will also need an unsubscribe link. That link lets you unsubscribe or delete your email record. Unsubscribed records are retained to avoid sending updates again; deleted records are removed from this database.

Usage and security

To limit spam and spending, we retain short-lived, one-way identifiers derived from network information, request counts and timestamps. These expire after two days and are cleaned up during later requests. We also retain aggregate pilot usage counts, without résumé text or emails. Hosting providers may keep their own access logs. We do not use advertising cookies or marketing trackers in this pilot.

Role suggestions are AI-generated and may be incomplete or incorrect. Check an employer’s actual requirements before applying.
